HSPVA Theatre Guild 2013 Gala BannerThe Annual HSPVA Theatre Guild Gala will be held on Saturday April 13, 2013 from 6:30pm – 10:00pm at The Warehouse Live, 813 St Emanuel St, Houston, TX 77003.  This wonderful, exciting, and heart-warming event brings together the entire extended HSPVA Theatre Family in a fun night of food, frolic, and fundraising. All your sisters and your cousins and your aunts are invited, along with younger siblings, grandparents, neighbors, and friends too!

Invitations will be sent to each HSPVA Theatre Department family.

Extra Credit for Attending Theatre Performances!

As we heard at the Theatre Guild meeting on Tuesday, HSPVA Theatre Students can earn extra credit by attending theatre performances and filing a play report within one week.  Play report forms can be found on the Theatre Department website on the Downloads page under the Current Students menu item.

College Night!

You don’t want to miss the upcoming HSPVA Theatre Department College Night, Monday, September 24 at 6:00pm.  College Night is a forum for students and parents to learn about majoring in theatre in college and the college admissions process from a Theatre major perspective.  This is a great opportunity to get expert advice on the world of college theatre, theatre scholarships, and the competitive admissions/auditions process for many programs. If you don’t know about Unified Auditions, the annual International Thespians Conference, have never heard of Boco and CCM, not sure about conservatory programs, this is the place to learn.
